So I know that this is REALLY late notice and rooms are full but does anyone have room at the place they are staying. I found out a few days ago that my friend was graduation college in grand juction on may 20. I can only get a week off a year and i was thinking about saving it for ouray or another vac but since i will be in the area i figure i should hit up moab instead. I was thinking about staying the week, but it just depends on the sleeping area. I dont mind sleeping in my truck but just need a shower? I have never been to moab to wheel, so im the new bee with MOAB. So sorry if im a litte lost on what i need to do, any information will help.

Is it to late to Register?
What would be good trails to go on for me?

It will be me and my girlfriend in my tent otherwise I would say you're welcome to stay with me. At the least, you can come and use the showers and what not at the campground a few of us are staying in.

There were tons of tent spots left at SLickRock last year. Cabins go kinda early...

cabins are full, but slickrock said they never run out of tent spots. i have to leave my cabin the last night and go to a tent spot since it was booked, but they didn't even bother to reserve one for me, she said "there will be plenty". they have showers, hot tubs, internet, and tent spots are only $17 i think.

Run about whatever that is not in the BLACK. But if its your first trip to Moab Fins N Things is always a blast and very fun. We can also run Mini Lions Back before and after to really give you an idea of the traction you get on slick rock.

OH and your schedule is not set in stone, so go ahead and sign up so Doug has you counted in.

There is a KOA in Moab...they have showers. Camping cabins can be sorta nice to stay in. They are not that much cheaper than a hotel...I want to say about 35 bucks, but you better double check that.

$35 is a LOT cheaper than a hotel room in Moab during the peak season. The only time rooms are cheap in Moab is Nov-Jan (those are also some of the best times for wheeling there, because the daytime temps are mild and the trails are completely deserted).
