Kewl, that looks a lot like my compressor, only more orange. Go to Grainger and get some of the mini-waffle vibration pads to set it on, makes a big noise difference. This is the kind I got (need 2 packages): http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/itemDetailsRender.shtml?ItemId=1611769362

Also, if it's anything like mine, it has a flow rate around 10-12 cfm, but came with a tiny plastic filter that's only rated for about 5 cfm. Grainger has a good 12 cfm filter/silencer that reduces noise pretty nicely: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/itemDetailsRender.shtml?ItemId=1613546371

Got the lines run. Ran some black pipe back and forth down the wall 10 feet in order to help collect the moisture. There is also a filter/water trap before the outlet. While I was at it a couple more 220V plugs were added for the welder and plasma (no more musical plugs).

Ian it came with some rubber footys... I will have to check out your setup sometime! The intake on this is a big square hole.

A big square hole? No threads or anything? That sounds a bit odd, in a place where you're using grinders and stuff an intake filter seems like a must.

Here you can see it on the head. It has some muffling/filter material in it. I need to take that cover off to see what is underneath.

Nice. I just use PVC 3/4 for around the garage. sch40.

I guess the metal makes it condense. The plasma requires clean dry air. I bet Aluminum tubing would do wonders!

One of my buds has a pvc system. It has worked without any probs for years.

Looks great except for the bag of grass fertilizer.:D Your tools are bigger than mine.:cut: :saw: :weld: :grind:

When are you putting the engine in the truck? or are you taking the pathy to gone?

Ryan Gee

The engine just got a part it has been waiting for. So some new build pics of the engine will probably show up after Gone Moab.

The Pathy is going to do Gone Moab again. She will be getting all the bruises from last year fixed here soon.

The Hardbody project has grown beyond getting done in time. What the heck, it will give us something to talk about next winter.
