Alright so here goes, my installation:
First I mounted them on the shrock which I got today. went under the grille and through the pass. side light hole. Connected the relay connections up to the relay. Place one ground wire on the side wall. Took the ring ground wire to the neg. terminal. took the positive to thepos. ran the rest of the wire through the grommet and under the console and through to the other side. Not fully installed but I took the yellow poser wire to the power on the cigarette lighter. Hit the switch and they worked. I was happy. Now to button things up, that is where I ran into a problem. I decide to grab some new bolts for the secondary terminals, some zip tires to organize the wiring, and some electric grease for the connectors.
As far as I know, there was nothing wrong after this. Now after this I decide to put the secondary terminals to use. I buy some larger ring connectors and I install them.
So since they were working to their current state of not working, this is what I have done:
put zip ties on to tidy things up,
put new terminals in the secondary post holes,
put battery grease on all of the terminals,
put electric grease on the connectors,
put new ring terminals on to fit the secondary terminals,
moved the + and - from primary to secondary posts.
Ideas anyone on what my dilemma might be?
