Looking for anyone else's keen eye to help with the hydro ram mount. Tue issue I'm running into is the narrow width of my axle. I can't seem to find a good option where it does not hit anything. However if I mount it off the frame to the drag link, I could get it to work. However I've never seen that done and I'm sure there is a reason for that. So any input please let me know.
Here is a pic for size comparison.

Where its sitting in the pic would work except I'd smack the hell out of it on rocks.

Do you have a high steer arm on the Driver side? Can you mount it so it uses one of the holes in it?
Mounting it to the drag link will be problematic on the road when you hit bumps...I think a bunch of us have considered it and decided it's a bad idea.

I have mine on the between the tie rod and the axle tube, I put a little 1/4' skid plate under it which protects it fairly well. Mine is an 8" stroke, what the stroke on that one?

ive got mine in the same place as Charlie

maybe mount the body ram on the drivers side with the mount coming off the axle tube with the shaft goin to the pass side mounting to the tie rod

Its an 8inch ram and compressed it spans the width of my leaf springs.
I think bill has the winning idea. I have that hi steer arm doing nothing why not use it for the ram. I'll play with it later this week.

Don't have room for a lot of those mounting spots. Could possibly do it off the leaf plate, but thinking off the diff to the hi steer arm will be best/easiest.
