This is a custom centered and narrowed rear Dana 60 built by Ms. Conception Motor sports of Salt Lake City. Width is about 62inches if i recall. It fits very well with a waggy front D44 axle, perhaps an inch wider.
It is semi float, six lug, with 35 spline alloy shafts and disk brakes; it has 4.56gears and a spool. It is also set up with a bridge for a 4 link with all tabs.
There is an extra axle shaft included for free, also alloy, 35 spline, never used, with bearings attached. This spare will fit either side. These shafts are burly, you won't need it! It looks like the axle is also pre-drilled for 5 lug as well!
Story behind it; I ordered it 3 years ago but the Army sent me away . It sat in my garage. I finally got around to installing it in my YJ last Xmas. It was used in Moab once, and at five mile pass once. It's been driven around Utah a bit, but it's all brand new and has less than 200 miles on it is my guess. I'm going to full width Dana 60s, already sold the D44 front and have no need for this axle any more. I'm selling it because i considered narrowing a front D60 and changing it to six lug, but that was too much $$.
This is an awesome axle that gives you D60 strength without the 8 lug; perfect for your Nissan/Toyota SAS or axle swap.
I will email anyone pics of my YJ with the axle installed. The YJ is in colorado right now but will be back to Utah on the 29th of April. I can make arrangements for Colorado people to go see it. I will absolutely allow anyone to bring their mechanic to look at it, remove the diff cover, inspect etc. but I guarantee it's in new condition.
would like to get $1475 back out OBO. I'm making no $ on this. Send me your email for pics.
