Those ones are crazy expensive. If you watch the ones that have actual bids (not set price from a store) they usually go for $200-300 if they're rebuilt. If only there was a good way to use them...

I didn't mean expensive as in....expensive. :D A S/C for $800 is cheap, but I was just pointing out that you can get them for a whole lot cheaper than that. I wonder if Alpine would sell individual parts, such as their manifold. They don't use these units though do they....

I am not sure. There are always guys looking for the stocker stuff or to replace their oem unit.

I don't know if they would sell you the individual peices or not. I know most of there business in on the full kits.

However, the oem supercharger will NOT work with Alpine's plenum.

By the way, if anyone is interested, I still have an oem supercharger laying around. It is for sale...
