Now I just need to take it and wash it again to paint it all up with rustoleum. And get the rear drive shaft lengthened.

hey kevin I have a question. would I have to move the front spring eye mount? or could I just re locate the spring perches and throw the spring on there? I don;t know if I want to go through all that work or not. plus I am not sure where to re locate them. any help would be awesome.

You could do that, but the truck would end up a lot taller. The problem with it being taller is that the driveline may end up bottoming out against the crossmember behind the t-case. And, since we don't have CV driveshafts, the angles of the u-joints will start to be maxed out.

One of the advantages of going spring over like that is that you can get rid of the front hangers and get a lower profile unit. Letting the frame slide a bit where it used to hang up is a great thing!
