Hello everyone,

Alan here from Denver CO. Just recently did I find this site after doing some research for my wife's 06 Xterra. I myself am a Jeep guy, hey not everyone is perfect right..... lol

Anyhow, this will be our second Xterra, we also had an 02 and we loved it. The 3.3L motor was very underpowered but we're loving this 4.0L

Anyhow here are some pics of the rigs, we bought this Xterra 2 days ago so still no action pictures. Taking it this weekend to Red Cone. We're thinking of putting a 2" Calmini Lift on it next summer and hopefully we can fit some 32" tires.

Welcome!
Nice rides.
I also recently picked up a 2nd Gen and immediately noticed the improved HP of the 4.0L (helpful in hauling all the armor weight up and over the continental divide)

Give the rangers a call before hitting Red Cone. I have heard the snow is lingering up there still and might not be passable near the top.
(One of my favorite drives for sure, so if you DO go, post up pics?)

Cool deal ... FWIW, no lift is needed for the 32s (in a 265x75r16 flavor, since it looks like you've got the 16" S wheels - that's actually the stock size on the OR trim); you can even run a 285x75r16 (~33", depending on the exact tire) with very little effort - heat and shape the fender liner to reduce/eliminate rubbing ... no lift required there either.
