As many of you know by now I recently purchased a 06' Xterra Off-Road and I have been wheeling it for about a month and getting to know the new ride.

I am getting loud clunks from my front suspension during my runs, what I believe is the PRG Upper Control Arm hitting the Coil Bucket on full droop. I go over even a 6-8 inch rock with the tire and the pre-load on the Radflo spring slams down the control arm and it knocks loudly.
I'm pretty sure before the Radflo coil-overs were installed by the previous owner that they were cranked up for higher ride height, but I need them adjusted instead for performance on the trail. I already spoke to Greg at PRG and he said I shouldn't be getting any noise on compression or droop. Greg asked that I jack up the front and see when and where the contact is being made, but I am pretty certain that the coils are just cranked up too high. Basically, I am hoping that someone familiar with the PRG UCA / Radflo Coilover setups could help me adjust them correctly and get them set for full droop without contact so I can wheel in peace once again. Unfortunately, I don't have jack stands or a level surface to work on so I am hoping that someone could lend me a hand in getting this front suspension tuned up. Holler at me if you want to be my hero.

I'm definitely willing to help you adjust them if need be but I'm a little north from you. I had the PRG UCAs with Coilovers installed on my Titan when I had it so I'm pretty familiar with it. I also have the needed spanner wrench, flat garage and plenty of tools...

Let me know...

That would be awesome Les!
PM me and let me know when I can drive up and we can get to it.
I have almost the entire weekend open.

Brian, is your truck doing better after the adjustments?

Not sure yet. It appears to have a little more room for downward travel, but I won't know for certain what, if anything was improved for performance until this Saturday when I run Kingston Peak. I'm hoping it is much improved because I want do Twin Cone on Sunday too.

Thanks again for helping me out on Saturday.
It was a heck of a day. :grind:
