question? alternators?

ok mine just took a crap....75 bux for an oem replacement.....or ......325 for a mean green....really?.....i have a winch, electric fans, and, a yellow top i dont know if i can justify that kind of cash for that....anyone?:confused:

my alt has a bad dieode......putting too many volts to the ecu (i think),,,,runs like crap,unless i have every thing on,(heater,lights,ect)

I'd go for the quest alternator also. Same as a Mercury Villager FYI

too late......i got one from advanced auto....75.00.....i needed one right now
