Im thinking about getting a pair of sway bar Disconnects from AC, has any body tried them or heard any thing about them?

I have heard of Calmini Sway bar discos, and bad things about them. I've heard they squeak like crazy and people take them off shortly after installing them.

I completely removed my rear sway bar long ago and have never looked back. I only disconnect the front sway bars when I really need the extra articulation (which has only been once).

Good luck.

I haven't heard anything good about the discos, and like Garrett removed my rear sway bar entirely.
I had some "quick discos" for the front sway bar, but one of the wing nuts holding everything together popped off one day and I could hear the various pieces of my discos hitting the ground and then popping up onto the bottom of my X. Since then I removed the other link and haven't looked back.

So does that mean you have no sway bar front and rear? I tried the same thing with the front end of my truck, with wing nut disconnects and it kept falling off, or the center rod would bend under mild trail riding. So I said screw it, take it all off.

You are correct, I run without a sway bar front or rear all the time. When you replace the hardware up front with wingnuts, etc...make sure you use at least Grade 8 bolts, or you will have that bending thing :D

Find an Ace Hardware to get the correct grade, lengths and bolt size.

Everytime I replace a bolt I use a grade 8.

well its a null point now, i put on my lift (finally) and the sway bar nuts would break loose (actually most of them we had problems with) so we ended up having to cut the sway bar links at all the corners. so im gonna have to at some point (maybe) but its good to know about the issues with them and such
