The limitations of SCORE's Stock Full rules weren't making anyone happy. The axle was weak and other issues plagued the Titan for racing. The truck is now going under the knife to get long travel, new cage work, fiberglass, and more. The goal is to finish the truck by the Baja 500.

The bed had to be cut off because of the previous gusseting and cagework. This is ONE DAYS work. Everything is 1 3/4 or 1 1/2 .120 wall 4130 and 4130 plate.

Tires, rims and rear end are just for mock up. Will run Kumho 35s or 37s on the new American Racing 17" Chamber beadlocks.

Camburg built the front end and is supplying the 3 link kit connected to a Currie 9 inch.

Here are some of the progress photos:

This is how the truck used to look:

I'm hoping to see the truck run at Primm but I think it will be racing mostly MDR and SCORE's Mexico races.

I have never whatched a race so i am not familiar with what your building. However those are friggin sweet welds. Whoever is welding that together friggin rocks...

Camburg Engineering is building the suspension. They are going to be releasing a bolt on kit like these arms. I haven't asked Jerry (One of the owners) but I'm pretty sure the kit will have 15" or so of wheel travel with 4wd.

One of the nice things about racing is that if you show up with booger welds you can't race...so most race fabricators have their technique dialed.

More updates...

The front will be sporting more than 20" of travel and the rear is looking to be about 26".
