View Full Version : anyone else camping?

This is my first time to Moab. Is anyone else camping there? I would like to find a site that is close to all the events (town, resturants, ect...) I dont really care if it is primative I spent 5 years digging cat holes in the army so that doesnt bother me. any sugestions?

A few of us will be at the Slickrock Campground (http://www.slickrockcampground.com) This will be my 3rd time staying there. Great place and a friendly staff.

Like NOW.... the tail end of goneMOAB is Memorial Day weekend, and thats when the availability is becoming an issue at places.

I just registered for a tent site today! They still have some tent sites left too.

It looks like, I got a tent spot at Slickrock. It says that i get spot 112, i think. Is anyone else around that spot that is sleeping at slickrock?

I think I'm 1(teen) something. They are cool about changing sites. The past two years they have told me what I can't have, then told me to pick any of the open sites and come back and tell them what I chose. I we can get some sites along the back of the proporty we will be close to the cabins where some fellow Nissan folk are staying.

Who's keeping the beer? You guys will have AC we can keep it cooler. :)

Speaking of beer, I'm thinking about bringing a Pony keg. There a liquor store by my house that will get me Fat tire for $30. Unless soneone else had something dirrerent in mind then I'll have it.

Im game to throw down on a pony keg, with you. What kind of beer is everyone bring and how much of it? Im just debating on how much to bring also?
