What are your likes and dislikes? AC is selling them for the 05+ Xterras, and they give about a 1/2" lift over the Calmini shackles im currently running. I was hoping this will help a bit for the saggy butt and also increase travel.

Kevin I know you had issues with yours, but I can't remember why.

I liked em but my issue was I cracked the welds on em & half stripped a bolt on the swing portion.

kevin, did yours break because of the way they sat at ride height? i don't remember for sure, but it looked to me like the top part was hitting the cross piece of the bottom part and just resting on it.

We reversed em so they didnt hit and the welds still re broke.

Oh, well, I have a set of used ones (older X though) and was thinking of putting them on. Maybe I'll rethink that.

Just carry spare stock or Calmini shackles, Al, that way if you break one you can swap it out (on second thought, that might be too much of a pain in the ass)

I was thinking today, if I shackle the ass end up, then the spring will go inverted to hit the bump stop. Right now, the spring is perfectly flat when it hits the stops. I don't want to vary that end of it. So, I have to repack the rear leaves. I have a set of 1/2 ton Chevy rear leaves at the shop. I think I'll scavange from them and see if I can gain a couple more inches to (hopefully) match the front when it's in.

Are you going to build a shackle for the Chevy packs or are you going to double shackle them? (edit: I just saw you are thinking of just adding to your X packs. Why not use the chevy leafs? Are they a 63" pack?)

Sorry for the thread hijack Jordan.
