Well, I gave it a good run. I actually have the truck sitting on the leaves, running, steering and whatnot.

But, I don't have the driveline for the front, the crossmember still has to be modified, bump stops built, shock hoops installed, brake pedal modified and the exhaust on the driver's side tweeked.

I'll be working on it a bit Saturday, enough to get her home. But that's about it. I need to help Ryan on Sunday (I hope that he's pretty much done, just needing some mopping up) or whomever else needs a hand to get out on Sunday.

But, I won't be going. At all. Not even shotgun. I'm running bitch in Moab. Ain't gonna happen!

Sorry guys, but the PhoeniX is a lame duck right now. In another month, she'll be right as rain, tall as hell and mean as....well, we won't go there! :D

Sucks dude, especially since I wanted to do 50mph accross the crack again this year. You'll get her done soon enough and I sure it will be nothing to sneeze at. Oh, and once my shit is done, I'll have some sundays free to wheel with you guys this year.

My SAS is not happening before Moab but I like it that way anyway. No need pushing things. Also, it will give me time to paint everything and make sure its done right.

Yeah, I'll get it done. If I had another couple of weeks and another paycheck, then it'd be ready, no problem. I'm sure everyone knows how the 'nickle and dime' stuff goes. I'll be wheeling sooner than later. This might even give me a chance to work with TnT to figure out a new crossmember I've been thinking of. We'll see.

Some times you gotta hold 'em, sometimes you gotta fold 'em. It sounds like at least you are being realistic about what shape the Pheonix would be in by the weekend. I'm sure it was a hard call. Everything always takes longer than you think (and costs more).

Yeah, it does suck. But I will be out this summer. MM definately wants to go camping this year. We've really missed it the last summers. She saw it today and wants to take it to the Bob Schneider concert in June. I'll have to bring a stool for her! :D
