Since I didn't do the SAS before GONE I wanted to change my UCA bushings. I have alot of play in my front end and I'm almost positive I have tracked it to the bushings. I ordered a replacement set from AC and there are 4 maroon bushings and 4 black bushings. What is the difference between them? As far as I can tell they are Identical. What order do the go in?
My other question is does this really need to be done before GONE? I will not have a chance to do then until sat night. Should I just bring them with me and have them just in case? I was just going to mark where the caster bolts are and line them back up after since I won't have time for a proper alignmnet. Like I said the issue I have is the front end is really loose and has a very floaty like feeling. All my steering is new and I can't see an issue with the ball joints.
If it matters I plan to do my SAS on June 3rd. So i only have 2weeks of driving on my IFS left. However one of those weeks takes me to Moab and back plus 5 days of wheeling.
