JayRyan

Aight- my place in SE Aurora. PM for address and phone.

Time: 9am or later.

I've got a fridge in the garage and a bench for food tools and other things. My tool selection is limited so you have 'em bring 'em. I do have a floor jack, a set of jack stands and yeah

Post up if you're attending and what you want to do. If there is a desire to change the date- no prob. But that was dicussed in the other thread. I know a couple of you expressed interest in coming in the other thread but won't put you down for sure until you post up here ;)

JayRyan (Me): Diff/Tranny Fluid Change:D Also changing out a turn signal bulb.

Packman5280: Hang out and help.

Allen Big Cox Offroad: Nothing but a parka.

CScherrer: Speakers

Scott Allan: Fluid Change

Royce Danford: Hanging out

Alex Topousis: Fluids and coolant sensor

Eric P: (maybe)

TMorgan: Suspension

don't think you'll need the fridge, more like a heater.

where in SE aurora? I'm at hampden and tower, maybe swing by for a bit and help you with that blinker fluid.

I'm down for it. Don't really need anything for mine. Unless someone wants to donate some doors and windows. :D

I might be able to show up. But I've got to wait until the day gets closer so I can look at my schedule and see how much work I have to do that weekend. I'll try and let ya know during that week sometime.

I should be there. I don't have anything to do unless someone has some speaker install expertise? :D I'm thinking about buying some Boston Acoustics for my Pathy.

All the Boston speakers I've heard have been awesome. A friend has a really nice setup of their "pro" line speakers in his Lexus.

I may be able to make it - need to check with the Boss. If it looks cold, I have 2 small portable electric heaters I can bring. I may be up for a drain and fill on the tranny, otherwise just help out/learn from others.

Cool, I'll put you down as a possible. That's all I'm probably gonna do. It looks like most of us will just kinda hang out and help Chris with his speaker install.:shot:

i'll be there, I would like to change my oil/ filter and possibly hook up my coolant pressure guage which also means flushing the coolant. Oh yeah and my horn decided to stop working so i'll probably try to figure that out too

JayRyan
10-30-2006, 01:18 PM
Cool. One thing since we're going to have liquid flying everywhere :D If everyone that's planning on changing out some sort of fluid could bring something to dispose of it in, that'd be great. You can leave it with me and the trash man will get it, I just don't have anything to put it when it's drained. Well, I have my bucket, but I need it for tranny and diff fluid :)

royce, I might be able to give you a ride down since i pass greeley from ft collins, the only problem is that i will probably be staying in denver that night. if that doesnt work we could always convoy down to his house

Royce Danford
10-30-2006, 04:36 PM
Alex...I need to get back up to Greeley that night for a B-Day party...lets plan on a convoy down to JR's house...what time are you planning on heading down, we can probably meet up at I-25 and 34....Royce

I could bring some stuff to work on if everyone was bored. Need to install new front and rear coils, struts, mounts, etc. It would be nice to actually install it BEFORE I drive another 60 miles on my failing suspension, though. :)

JayRyan
10-31-2006, 05:49 AM
I think we'll set it up this way, unless someone has a better idea- Chris and T can pull in to the bays and start on speakers and suspension respectively. The rest of us fluid dudes, can pull up along the entrance and hit the fluid changes...but if it's really cold, then I'll start my fluid change early and try and get it out of the way before most everyone shows up and we can get those done quick then, pull Chris in and start in on his speakers...or something :D

Scott Allan

I've got clearance from headquarters! Actually going to drop the wife off at a baby shower in Broomfield, then come by, so I may be a bit late. PM me with address/best general way to get there (I'm guessing E470, which exit to get off on?) If it looks cold, I'll bring the heaters. Jay - do you have heavy duty extension cords if we need them?

JayRyan
10-31-2006, 08:37 AM
Hrmmm...extension cords. I think I'm plum out right now...I do, but I'm using now in lieu of hardwire I've not gotten around to doing yet. If you have one, bring it.
PM sent on addy.

For general guidlines- when you pull into the complex, park right by the pool on the left or keep swinging around to the back garage. I'm the second townhome in facing the green space adjoining the clubhouse. Not terribly difficult if you remember the pool. People seem to forget that part :D

Put me down as a maybe I have to get the go ahead from the wifey... I need to do a tranny/diff/t-case fluid change. If I can go I want to be a part of the convoy from greeley. IF I cant make it hopefully we can organize another mod day soon. Off topic here but does anybody know how a "driveline" cable on a boat is supposed to be hooked up?

Packman5280
11-01-2006, 01:05 PM
anyone mind if a guy from work stops by that day? he doesn't drive a 4x4, but he wants me to help him install some fog lights for him. figured I'd ask since it's a 4x4 mod day, what do you guys think?

JayRyan
11-01-2006, 01:07 PM
Hmmm....we're not RM**.net- yeah, don't care! Bring him by! The more the merrier :)

GarrettE
11-01-2006, 06:06 PM
Unfortunately, I won't be able to be there. I have a football game that I have to attend. Its very hard to not be able to go, seeing as how I just picked up my wheels today. Only waiting on the shackles and torsion bars.

Another mod day will probably come either in late November or early December. Think warm thoughts!

Alex Topousis

Scott Allan
11-03-2006, 04:48 PM
I'll be driving down separate since I need to deposit the spousal unit at a baby shower so will be a bit late.

Hey Chris - hope to see you there. You'll have to fill me in on what "I'm single" means.

Royce Danford
11-03-2006, 06:01 PM
Hey guys...with gas prices, is it possible to meet somewhere (I-25 & 34) and ride down since I don't need to do anything to my ride...I'll pitch-in gas wise...let me know...

Alex Topousis
11-04-2006, 12:44 PM
I'm sure we can work something out. I feel your pain for sure my truck gets 6 mpg

GarrettE
11-04-2006, 05:51 PM
Whoa! 6mpg, Alex? Holy He!!

What all do you have thats causing that (size tires, lift, etc)?

Alex Topousis
11-05-2006, 01:51 AM
I thinks its a combination of oversized heavy tires, front and rear bumper, winch, sliders, skids, the lift, the shitty supercharger, and the fact that it has the aerodynamics of a brick. so basically everything combined makes for crap milage

Tyler,
Where is your class down here in P-Town.

I'm should be around all day.

Todd

ChefTyler

It's in Pueblo West, I have the addy here somewhere. Class starts at 8am and they said it would be near dark when we finished (so that's what, 5:00pm?) at the range. PM your number, and we can hook up after I'm done.

JayRyan

FYI: I am only providing the garage- if you'd like to bring beer, food etc. Feel free.

I'm soo depressed about this! I have to wait 3 more weeks or so.

I have all the parts for my body lift and PML but no tires, and I can't come to this one.

Sad...just sad.

Minus the winch & front bumper & front skids, I get 15-20 mpg on mine. Get it somewhere that will read codes. The knock sensor may have failed. I don't know the code, but someone here might. I gained 6-8 mpg after I had mine replaced under warranty. And make sure you are using 91 octane here. I tried 87 once and got less than 10 mpg.

Royce Danford
11-10-2006, 01:21 PM
