TIRE and LIFT QUESTION???

i am a rookie and i have a 93 nissan pathfinder w/ 3"BL and 31 " tires on 15x8 rockcrawlers
i want to go to 33" tires
my question is can i install a 3" AC lift and still use my stock gears(4.6)?
i have V6 automatic.
It will be my DD so everyone give me some input

It will work fine just dont expect to be a speed demon on the hills. Like most of us do anyway in CO going up and down the passes.

You can do that, but later on, if you want to go "big", then regearing is the way to go.

Or just SAS later on, with the axle(s) of your choice. Then regearing is way cheaper!

How is gas mileage affected with proper gearing vs stock gearing on large tires?

It made it a little better I am getting 14-16 mpg, depending on how I treat the pedal.

Yeah on 35s and 5.13 & 5.14 gearing.
