Wheeler would be first and then Mosquito Pass on our way back home. You could always ride along on Wheeler if you didn't want to drive it.

Don't think your friend coming would be any issue, but might be good if you came as well since nobody would know him.

John, I was mapping it yesterday, and it looks like we have to do wheeler lake before mosquito pass...

Both trails are off hwy 9; however wheeler lake goes up and, then you come back down the same way to hwy 9 (correct me anyone if I am wrong). Mosquito pass is off hwy 9, but ends near Leadville.

You and Jen could park your x at the bottom of thebtrail for wheeler lake and ride with us two, and then pick it up on the way back down to mosquito pass. Sound like a plan?

As for your friend, I don't see any issues as long as he know the trail rating and reads trail damage. He could also park his truck at the head of wheeler lake like I was suggesting you guys do that way he has it for
Mosquito pass.

OK i am in for mosquito pass!

My buddy is just going to ride with me. he is a cool guy, my age, and loves off roading.

If possible could we hitch a ride with someone for wheeler lake? if not thats cool, we can just wait for you guys to get done and then follow you all over to mosquito pass!

Don't have a CB installed yet, but i have two way radios (i know they suck some times) but i will have that on channel 4 as well.

Guanella Pass is closed up top. I figure just take Hwy 9 south from Frisco. I don't think 285 would be any faster anyway.
